Our new PositionPro® is the type of Low Friction Slider / Turning Sheet that is recommended by the WCB (WorkSafe) for repositioning patients on beds in Hospitals and Care Facilities. Although the preferred WorkSafe method of lifting is with an overhead sling device, the low friction slider sheets are currently used in many BC Health Authorities for repositioning purposes. These sheets are constructed from high tech low friction calendared polyester with a polyester / cotton surface sheeting. The polyester cotton fabric provides comfort for the patient and the calendared polyester layer provides a low friction static free sliding surface to move the patient safely and easily. *Not to be used as a patient lifting device.
