Scale of engineering Firstar's MST™ Microfibre is an engineered filament thread that has been redesigned at the microscopic level to offer the very best in moisture-wicking properties. Firstar's microfibre material is made from fibrous strands less than one denier (one gram per 9000 meters and about 10 micrometers or 0.00039 inches in diameter). Comfortable Performance Firstar's microfibre fabrics are exceptionally soft, wrinkle-resistant and hold their shape very well. Microfibre performance apparel has become a very popular alternative to cotton apparel for athletic wear because microfibre material pulls moisture away from the body keeping the individual cool and dry.
